The Death and Damnation tour is a show case of trans Tasman metal. Rivalries are put aside as our two countries join forces and prepare for heavy metal war. These will be spectacular shows displays of Black, Symphonic, Thrash and some good old fashioned heavy metal. The tour features the Australian Lamort with their lashings of symphony and black metal. Following them from the great continent with an attack of melody and thrash is Damnations Day. Local reinforcements are in the form of Bulletbelt with their primal incantations of black metal. Rounding of the local support are the immoveable force of tradition and thrash Red Dawn (Wellington show only) and the heavy as fuck doom of Dying Of The Light (Auckland show only)

Lamort (Australia)

LAMORT, a 5 piece Symphonic Black Metal band hailing from Victoria, Australia. Since LAMORT's formation in 2002, we have released a number of recordings that have returned glowing feedback, we have shared the stage with a number of international acts and we have carved a path for ourselves in the Australian Metal Scene. But we have also been through our fair share of line-up alterations. Now, in this new era, this Saeculum Novum, we present this,'A Cold Godless Machine', the E.P. which commemorates our history, solidifies our sound and embraces our future.

Damnations Day (Australia)

As described on Triple J Unearthed - Damnations Day are a 'Melodic Thrash Metal' band residing in the sleepy hollows of Geelong. With influences from iconic metal bands such as Metallica, Iron Maiden, and Slayer, blending with newer influences such as Blind Guardian, Soilwork, and even Lamb of God. Damnations Day pride themselves on incorporating technical and tasteful drumming, thrashy riffs, melodic leads and rhythmically based solos and blending all this with the powerful and aggressive vocals so characteristic to what is Damnations Day.

Bulletbelt (Wellington)

Bulletbelt are a New Zealand Black Metal horde ruled by battery, distortion, depth and incantations. Forged in 2009 they have recorded two EPs and performed numerous times in their local Wellington region. Their current EP, 'Writhe and Ascend' was recorded at STL Audio and captures their intense live presence in preparation for their upcoming 2011 live rituals, culminating in the Beyond The Black Festival on 31 January. It also marks a transition point in the band which will see them further push their collective musical boundaries and continue their ever expanding sonic madness. The immortals associated with Bulletbelt are Steve 'Cleaver' Francis (battery), Ross 'Rots' Mallon (distortion), Kane 'Cathian' Anderson (depth) and Fergus 'Fear' Nelson-Moores (incantations).
